Amazon (AMZN) Launches iPad (AAPL) App

According to Techcrunch, Amazon AMZN has launched a third app for Apple’s AAPL iPad. iPad owners can download the free app directly from the App Store to their tablet computers. This custom-made app allows users to browse products offered by Amazon and other retailers. Features like daily deals, bestsellers, and customer reviews, which regular Amazon users are familiar with, will be available via the app.The new app is built to take full advantage of the tactile nature of the iPad. Amazon had earlier launched a Kindle app and an IMDb app for iPad users.
