South Dakota House Passes GOP Bills Prohibiting Unregulated Hemp Products, Warn Cannabis Customers Of Fed Firearms Ban
South Dakota State members have advanced legislation that would make the sale of several THC products illegal. The bill would make the sale of Delta-8, Delta-10, THC-O, HHC and THC-P products illegal. The products are chemically modified forms of THC derived from hemp. If the bill becomes law, the production or sale of these products would fall under the classification of a misdemeanour with a maximum sentence of one year in jail, a fine of $2,000, or both. The bill is now with the State Senate Health and Human Services Committee after winning approval from House members. The bill was advanced by Rep. Brian Mulder (R).
