Rare Weed Compound Helps Suppress Appetite, Increases Energy & Motivation Without The Munchies, New Study Finds
Phylos, a cannabis genetics company and People Science, conducted a groundbreaking research study on the rare cannabinoid tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV). The study, which showed promising results, revealed that Natural THCV developed by Phylos led to improved energy levels, productivity, motivation, and overall happiness without common side effects like fatigue and increased appetite associated with consuming THC. Alisha Holloway, PhD, the chief scientific officer at Phylos, highlighted the importance of this study for the cannabis industry. The study involved subjects consuming placebo gummies, THC-only gummies, and gummies containing the Get Sh!t Done (GSD) extract, high in THCV. Research findings indicated that THCV-enriched gummies were more effective in enhancing activity levels, exercise performance, motivation, and overall well-being compared to THC-only gummies. The discovery of THCV, a unique cannabis compound, has opened up new possibilities for targeted cannabis products with potential benefits such as appetite suppression and blood sugar regulation.
