Apple: Continuing To Shine Brightest Above The Rest (AAPL)

An article from Mashable shows that Apple AAPL may be trying to do the unthinkable, and cut the cord(s). Nobody likes cords, they're unsightly, they take up a lot of space, and sometimes can radically change how you want to configure your electronics. Apple may have an idea that is going to change all of that, and if so, this could be just as big as when the iPod and iPhone revolutionized their industries. Apple is supposedly working on a way to sync your iPod to iTunes with out a wire, and if this happens, then it can figured out for the iPhone, and eventually the MacBook. According to Cult of Mac, Steve Jobs wants to make the next generation iPods sync wirelessly The iPod would automatically sync whenever a user was connected to their Wi-Fi network. There are a few problems that Jobs and co. have run into so far. The reliability and strength of the connection, and the big drain on battery life. To try and combat this issue, Apple has been testing carbon fiber cases, as opposed to aluminum cases. Apple has also recently hired Kevin Kenney, a senior composites engineer with expertise in carbon fiber. Apple has started to introduce the wireless home with its AirPlay feature, which allows users to stream their music to different stereo systems. Apple's "Remote" app is also likely to be a key component of the wireless home in the future as well. Jobs continues to innovate in a way that many have tried and failed at before. Apple is simply the best at what it does, and it's little things like this that continue to make shareholders extremely happy, and the tech world in a continuous state of awe and praise.
