Bitcoin, New York Community Bancorp, Live Nation Entertainment And More On CNBC's 'Final Trades'

On CNBC’s "Halftime Report Final Trades," Stephen Weiss of Short Hills Capital Partners named Bitcoin BTC/USD as his final trade.

Bitcoin prices traded above the $37,000 mark after reports that BlackRock Inc BLK, the world’s top asset manager, revealed it is planning to create an exchange-traded fund (ETF) with a focus on purchasing ETH.

Jenny Harrington of Gilman Hill Asset Management said New York Community Bancorp, Inc. NYCB has a 7.5% dividend yield.

New York Community reported better-than-expected earnings for the third quarter.

Price Action: New York Community Bancorp shares gained 1.4% to close at $9.30, while Live Nation Entertainment shares rose 1.6% to settle at $87.52 on Friday. iShares US Consumer Staples ETF gained 0.4% during Friday’s session.
