United Parcel Service, Inc. UPS shares are trading lower by $7.50 at $109.53 in Tuesday's session. The catalyst for the decline is a Q4 EPS miss of $0.06 along with a revenue miss of $69 million. The company also guided lower for FY 2017.
Its much lower opening tick of $111.81 has turned out to be the high for the session. Its ensuing decline has taken the issue to $108.68 and its rally off the lows came up shy of the intra-day high, staling at $110.71.
For now, the issue has been in a trading range over the last two hours between $109.18 and $110.33. It's attempting to avoid its first close under $110.00 since November 7, when it ended that session at $109.80.
