Celgene Adds To Wednesday's Gain

Celgene Corp CELG shares are trading higher by $2.10 at $125.15 in Thursday's session.

The issue is rallying on heavy volume one day after it presented at the Cowen Annual Healthcare Conference. Today's $2.00 gain comes on top of Wednesday's $0.96 move from $122.08 to $123.04.

After a flat open, it had a small retreat but quickly found support just above Wednesday's closing price ($123.04), only reaching $123.10 before embarking on its rally.

The issue added $2.00 in straight-up move, then paused before peaking at $126.16. That marked the highest level for Celgene since it peaked on November 9 at $127.00. Following a pullback to $124.42, it's attempting to close near $125.00 for the first time October 29, 2015, when it ended that session at $124.93.
