The Great White Hoax: GE's Tax Payment Not True (GE)

Despite reports out of the AP that General Electric GE would be paying the Treasury $3.2 billion in taxes, the company came out and refuted these claims, calling the report a hoax. It's not known yet how the AP could report inaccurate information, and the report is currently being investigated into further. At last check, shares of GE were up 4 cents to $20.05, a gain of 0.20%‎.
