Constellation Energy to Develop 4.5 MW Solar Power System with Holyoke Gas & Electric (CEG)

Constellation Energy CEG and Holyoke Gas & Electric Department announced today the development of a new 4.5 megawatt solar installation which will generate electricity for the municipally owned utility's 18,000 customers in Holyoke, Mass. The system, which is scheduled for commercial operation in summer 2011, will be among the largest solar installations in the New England region and the largest in western Massachusetts.
