Charlie Sheen, the bad boy of Hollywood, had risen to fame on the wings of his father's fame, as well as a large number of scandals. Recently he got fired from Warner Bros. but that didn't stop him from reaching a record number of Twitter followers. In his most popular show - Two and a Half Men – Charlie Sheen is portrayed as an ultimate playboy having it all – looks, money, and women- a lot of them. Benzinga has made a short list of companies that help make Charlie Sheen a macho man.
First of all, any man who aims to emulate Charlie Sheen needs a good suit. Good place to pick a new suit is Men's Wearhouses MW, a Houston-based men's apparel retailer, or Jos. A. Bank Clothiers JOSB, a manufacturer of classically-style tailored and casual clothing.
After making sure you are presentable, it is equally important to choose the right place to make an appearance at. For someone with a strong sexual drive, and Charlie Sheen has plenty of that, it is hard to find a more appealing place than Rick's Cabaret International RICK, a chain of strip-clubs and nightclubs.
Everyone who has any ambition of being a macho man, be it Charlie Sheen or James Bond, must also know how to gamble. MGM Resorts International MGM, the world's second largest gaming company, is certainly a good pick. For all the fans of good old casinos, Las Vegas Sands LVS is a match made in heaven.
Judging by the market performance, however, macho man stocks seem out of fashion today. Clothes that make macho men were down, with Jos. A. Bank Clothiers JOSB shares falling 0.73%, while Men's Wearhouses's MW shares maintaining their value. Places Charlie Sheen would love to present himself didn't do much better either. MGM Resorts International MGM lost 0.11% and Las Vegas Sands LSV was 0.31% down, which looks quite descent compared to Rick's Cabaret International RICK, whose shares were down 0.62% today.
Of course, one of the qualities of Charlie Sheen is to bounce back when things are looking grim. We just have to see if the companies that are behind every successful macho man can still perform their same trick.
