As the race for energy continues to heat up, Google GOOG is investing millions into the world's largest wind farm, along with a couple of Japanese firms.
Google, and subsidiaries of Itochu Corp. and Sumitomo Corp. have invested $500 million in the world's largest wind farm. General Electric Co. GE and Caithness Energy co-run the farm, which is near Arlington, Oregon.
Once the farm is complete, it is expected to produce 845 megawatts of electricity.
