St. Jude Medical Announces FDA Approval of Trifecta Valve (STJ)

St. Jude Medical, Inc. STJ, today announced that it has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for its Trifecta™ valve. The valve, a clinically-proven replacement for diseased, damaged or malfunctioning aortic heart valves, mimics the flow of a natural, healthy heart and represents a significant new product in the pericardial aortic stented tissue valve market.
