First Commonwealth Financial Corp. FCF reported earnings of $0.07/sh, “missing KBW and Street estimates by a penny,” KBW reports.
“The quarter was marked by higher credit costs and weaker spread and fee income, which were all partially offset by better expense control,” KBW writes. “Asset quality trends reversed three quarters of positive momentum as NPAs increased 18% sequentially.”
First Commonwealth Financial closed Thursday at $5.95.
