Dahlman Rose Reports ODFL 1Q11 EPS

Dahlman Rose has issued a report on the Q1 EPS from Old Dominion Freight Line ODFL. According to the report, "Old Dominion Freight Line reported 1Q EPS of $0.38 per share, including roughly $0.02 from a one time life insurance benefit. Excluding this benefit, earnings from continuing operations was $0.37 per share, still well ahead of our $0.27 forecast, the consensus estimate of $0.29, and well over double the $0.14 posted in the prior year." ODFL is Hold rated and closed at $37.62 yesterday.
