Jacobs Receives $122M Contract From U.S. General Services Administration for Renovation Project

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. JEC announced today that it received an award from the U.S. General Services Administration to provide construction management services for the renovation of the historic Federal Building at 50 United Nations Plaza in San Francisco, Calif. This $122M renovation project is funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which has stringent budget and schedule constraints in addition to increased reporting requirements. This project will convert the 350,213 GSF building into a high performance green building and is scheduled to be completed in 2013.
