In a recent report, J.P. Morgan reports Volcano VOLC had a strong start to the year and the Japan impact was in-line with expectations resulting in J.P. Morgan maintaining an overweight rating on Volcano.
In the report, J.P. Morgan said "Volcano reported impressive 1Q results Wednesday after the close, with revenues of $81.0M (+22%) coming in $1.0M better than our estimate and $2.6M above the Street consensus. Importantly, this upside was driven entirely by the company's core IVUS and FM businesses, with the Axsun telecom segment actually falling $1.4M shy of our estimate." J.P. Morgan maintains a price target of $33.00 on VOLC.
VOLC closed yesterday at $26.38.
