Electronic Arts Rises 6.5% After Earnings (ERTS)

The market is cheering Electronic Arts' ERTS earnings results on Thursday. The stock is up 6.43% to $21.20 on heavy volume. The company reported adjusted net income for the fourth quarter of $83 million or $02.5 per share. This compared to Wall Street analysts' consensus EPS estimates of $0.22. Revenues were up 17% to $995 million, which handily beat consensus revenue estimates of $923.88 million. "We're happy to report another strong quarter, top and bottom line. We're particularly proud of the scale and growth rate of our digital business," said John Riccitiello, Electronic Arts CEO.
