According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, J.P. Morgan JPM announced it was in "advanced discussions" with the Securities and Exchange Commission to settle an ongoing investigation regarding collateralized debt obligations.
The disclosure was made in the bank's quarterly filing, which was filed earlier today.
At last check, shares of J.P. Morgan were up 33 cents to $45.50, a gain of 0.75%.
