ISS Recommends That Alpha Natural Resources and Massey Energy Company Shareholders Approve Proposed Merger

Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. ANR and Massey Energy Company MEE announced today that Institutional Shareholder Services has recommended that shareholders of ANR and MEE vote for adoption of all board-sponsored proposals to merge the two companies.
