Level 3 Announces Agreement with Information Television Network to Provide Services to Support its Broadcast Programming

Level 3 Communications, Inc. LVLT today announced that it has signed an agreement with Information Television Network, a producer of health and wellness broadcast programming based in Florida, to provide bandwidth support for the company's expanding production needs. Due to increased viewership and a move to more high-definition programming, bandwidth requirements for ITV have increased dramatically. The production company also requires network service solutions that will improve information transfer speeds and employee productivity, while ensuring network reliability. By building fiber directly into its studio and providing the broadcaster with direct Internet access service, Level 3 was not only able to solve ITV's bandwidth problems, but also ensure greater service reliability. Direct access to Level 3's breadth of services will also enable ITV to scale its network services to meet future growth.
