Apple APPL is now worth more than the once feared, and now maligned combination of Microsoft MSFT and Intel INTC.
Apple is worth $317.6 billion as of Friday's close, while Microsoft was worth $201.59 billion, and Intel was worth $115.21 billion, making Apple worth more than Microsoft and Intel.
According to Apple's VP Phil Schiller, Apple Mac sales grew 28% year-over-year, while PC sales shrank 1%. Apple currently has 7.4% of the U.S. market for computers, while Microsoft/Intel machines own the rest at 92.6%.
