When E3 (the Electronic Entertainment Expo) approaches each year, consumers from all over the world wait in anticipation.
Now that day has finally come: E3 is here!
While I couldn't make it out to LA for this year's show, I have many fond memories of past E3s that have helped pull me through this painful period in my life.
As Benzinga's video game guru, I was ready to hear more about Wii U. But as a consumer, I was embarrassingly ecstatic. Just take a look at the picture… If you saw me walking through the halls of your office building, what would you think? That I was attending a costume party and wandered in by mistake?
But it was no mistake – I was simply in full anticipation mode for an event I have dubbed “Nintendo Day.” Nintendo Day occurs once every year when the company holds its annual press event, and none are sweeter than the Nintendo Days accompanied by a new console unveiling.
Thus, I couldn't help but
wear the excitement – on my head, on my chest, and most of all on my face!
(This morning I could even hear Zelda music playing in my head. I don't think my colleagues could hear it, but you never know.)
After all the hype and anticipation, you might be wondering what I thought of Nintendo's presentation. Read my
gut reaction to find out.
