Oracle Rises 2.50%

Shares of blue-chip technology company Oracle Corp. ORCL are having a good day, rising 2.47% to $31.57. Volume has been very heavy with more than 23.4 million ORCL shares trading hands already on the day compared to a 3-month daily average of 27.5 million. The company is seeking damages "in the billions of dollars" from Google GOOG in a patent lawsuit relating to the smartphone market. Oracle Corporation is an enterprise software company. The Company develops, manufactures, markets, distributes and services database and middleware software, applications software and hardware systems, consisting primarily of computer server and storage products.
