General Electric Co. GE hosted an analyst day event at the Paris Air Show to provide a detailed insight into the near- and long-term outlook in the Aviation segment, Sterne Agee reports.
“Higher fuel prices are boosting demand for next gen engines with proven ~15 % lower fuel burn,” Sterne Agee writes. “GE now estimates a 13% increase in annual commercial plane engine production to ~2,480 in 2014, while military engines could increase 5% to 3,370.”
Sterne Agee is reiterating its Buy rating on General Electric, which closed Tuesday at $18.81.
