U.S. Stocks Rebound From Lower Open

Stocks opened lower Wednesday, but turned narrowly mixed ahead of this afternoon's news from the Federal Reserve. The NYSE composite and S&P were fractionally higher. But the Nasdaq fell 0.2%, dragged down by software and chip stocks. Volume was tracking sharply lower across the board. NuVasive (NUVA) gapped down and lost nearly 4% after announcing a note offering. Late Tuesday, the medical products maker said it intends to offer $325 million in
