More News On Dodgers Bankruptcy

More news is coming out from the L.A. Dodgers bankruptcy. Michelle Steele, Bloomberg's sports reporter, tweeted that Frank McCourt went to 7 different lenders for debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing before ultimately receiving the $150 million loan from J.P. Morgan's Highbridge Capital. Earlier this morning, it was announced that one of baseball's most storied franchises, had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection while McCourt is in a nasty divorce battle with his ex-wife, Jaime. At last check, shares of J.P. Morgan JPM were up 33 cents to $39.71, a gain of 0.56%.
