Earnings Preview: Monsanto

Monsanto MON is set to report earnings tomorrow before the bell. At last check, shares were up $1.28 to $67.00, a gain of nearly 1.95% as traders await earnings. Wall Street is looking for quarterly earnings of $1.11 per share on $3.38 billion in revenues. This is up from last year, when the company reported earnings of 80 cents per share on $2.96 billion in revenues. Guidance for next quarter is expected to come in at (18) cents per share on $2.05 billion in revenues. Monsanto provides agricultural products for farmers in the United States and internationally. It operates in two segments, Seeds and Genomics, and Agricultural Productivity.
