Decentralized global content ecosystem, Contentos, has partnered with Yahoo! Taiwan to educate a new demographic of blockchain enthusiasts.

TAIWAN, China (PRWEB) November 07, 2018

Contentos, a decentralized global content ecosystem, announces a partnership with Yahoo! Taiwan to educate mainstream audiences about blockchain. QuizBiz, a quiz game held on live-streaming app Live.me and short-video app Cheez, allows viewers to simultaneously answer questions while watching celebrities participate in the quest to learn more about blockchain. Experts in the industry are also featured guests, giving further explanation to the answers.

"As a team, we saw a gap in how the blockchain narrative was being portrayed. We wanted to make the understanding of the technology not only accessible but fun to explore," said Mick Tsai, CEO, and co-founder of Contentos. "The Contentos team believes that facilitating a high energy game show centered around the education of blockchain technology will attract a new demographic of enthusiasts, which will be a step forward towards mainstream adoption."

The show has garnered 4.8 million unique viewers over the first four episodes, in addition to 400,000 COS tokens being issued to online viewers, as a reward for their achievements. Experts who joined the show have included, the APAC general manager of Contentos, Ava Wen, the CEO of Bitrue crypto-exchange, Curis Wang, and Taiwan "crypto-congressman" Xu Yu-Ren.

In Tsai's words, "The mission of Contentos is not only to build a content blockchain, but also bring awareness of the token economy to the general public through high-quality content."

The game reaches a global audience as it is open to US users on both Live.me and Cheez, where viewers can tune in once a day throughout the week for a chance to win rewards by demonstrating their growing knowledge of blockchain technology and its applications.

Recently, Contentos also announced a multi million dollar investment from Binance Labs, an incubator of Binance and social impact fund that invests in top projects that are using blockchain technology to transform diverse industries. Ella Zhang, Head of Binance Labs, said, "We are dedicated to identifying the real use cases to implement blockchain technologies. There's a clear pain-point to be solved in the content creation industry, and we see Contentos is the right team with critical resources to solve the problem." Through direct investments, collaborations with other industry partners, and the Labs incubation program, Binance Labs is committed to helping top BUIDLers jump start their ideas and realize the full potential of blockchain technologies.
