Seven Arts Pictures Signs Deal With Showtime to Exhibit "NOISE," a Seven Arts Film Starring Tim Robbins and Bridget Moynahan

HOLLYWOOD, CA--(Marketwire - August 10, 2009) - Seven Arts Pictures plc (Seven Arts) SAPX announced an agreement with Showtime to exhibit "NOISE," starring Tim Robbins, starting on February 1, 2009. The agreement allows Showtime to exhibit the film as many times as they want until January 31st, 2011. Seven Arts continued its relationship with Showtime on "DEAL" starring Burt Reynolds and Shannon Elizabeth through Seven Arts' distribution deal with MGM Pictures, which had an overall "output" arrangement with Showtime and which resulted in "DEAL's" exhibition on Showtime.

Peter Hoffman, CEO of Seven Arts, commented, "We are delighted Showtime has agreed to air 'Noise' starring Tim Robbins and Bridget Moynahan, and 'Deal' starring Burt Reynolds and Bret Harrison."

The dark comedy "Noise" was released in the US in 2008 and features Tim Robbins -- as a New York attorney -- who is desperately seeking relief from the constant din of New York City, and takes matters into his own hands soon becoming known as the vigilante "the Rectifier". The film also features stars William Hurt and Bridget Moynahan. In "Deal," Burt Reynolds plays an ex-gambler who teaches a hot-shot college kid some things about playing cards, and finds himself pulled into the world series of poker, where his protégé (Bret Harrison) is his toughest competition. "Deal" also stars Shannon Elizabeth.

For nearly a decade, Seven Arts Pictures plc has remained a prominent full service independent producer and distributor of quality feature films. Under the experienced hand of Founder and CEO Peter Hoffman, the company has distinguished itself as a consistent source for quality art house films that boast "festival cache," as well as highly marketable bigger budget feature films that appeal to a worldwide audience.
