Dish Network Beats on Earnings, Adds 249,000 Subscribers (DISH)

3/1/2010-Dish Network DISH reported Q4 EPS of $0.40, trumping consensus estimates of $0.33.

Revenues for the quarter rose 1.4% year-over-year to $2.9 billion, in line with consensus estimates.

The company gained approximately 249,000 net subscribers during the fourth quarter, giving the company approximately 14.1 million subscribers at year-end. The number of net subscribers gained for 2009 was approximately 422,000.
