Reeg Allen Joins RE2, Inc. as Director of Business Development

PITTSBURGH, PA--(Marketwire - August 10, 2009) - RE2, Inc., a leading developer of intelligent modular manipulation systems, announced today that it has hired Reeg Allen as the Director of Business Development. In this role, Mr. Allen will lead the Company's new business, strategic partnerships, technology commercialization, transition, and licensing activities.

Prior to joining RE2, Mr. Allen was instrumental in the growth and success of FirstLink: The Department of Defense National Center of Excellence for First Responder Technology Transfer, whose services were provided by AMTV, a University of Pittsburgh spin-off. As the Senior Technology Consultant for the FirstLink Program, Reeg was responsible for facilitating and managing relationship development activities and agreements between technology companies and Department of Defense laboratories.
