Curaleaf To Launch Nano-Technology Gummies

Medical and wellness cannabis company Curaleaf Holdings, Inc. CURA CURLF said Monday it has enriched its products portfolio with Curaleaf and Select Nano Gummies.

The Wakefield, Massachusettes-headquartered company produced the new line of edibles employing Nano-emulsion technology, which enables a faster cannabinoid consumption.

During the process, the gummies are infused with water-soluble cannabinoids.

Starting this week, Select Nano Gummies are available within Arizona. They're expected to be available in eight states by the end of the second quarter.

The gummies will be introduced in Nevada, California, Colorado, and Massachusetts during the next month, while consumers in Michigan and Maine will have to wait for its launch until July.

Costumers in Massachusetts and Maryland will enjoy Curaleaf Nano Gummies starting June.

"We're thrilled to launch Curaleaf and Select Nano Gummies. Nanotechnology is an exciting development and the first that we have scaled across our brands since acquiring Select in February 2020," said Curaleaf President Joe Bayern.

The launching of the new products comes on the heels of Curaleaf's debut in Oklahoma last week when it signed a deal with Mango Cannabis to distribute its Select brand products in the two Mango dispensaries located in Edmonton and Tulsa.

On the same date, CapStone Holdings disclosed it has decided to invest $50 million in Curaleaf.

CapStone Holdings chairman and founder Keith Stone said Curaleaf managed to swiftly turn into a leader in a $16 billion industry employing acquisitions and product development.

Earlier this year, the company launched Select Elite Live, the equality oil infused with freshly cropped live resin terpenes. Its debut in Connecticut and Massachusetts is expected at the beginning of the next month.
