Houseplant, the cannabis brand founded in 2019 by comedian Seth Rogen and screenwriter Evan Goldberg, confirmed Thursday the launch of a new line of THC-infused beverages.
The brand, in association with Canopy Growth Corp. CGC, announced that the line’s first product will be introduced as a grapefruit flavored sparkling water infused with 2.5 milligrams of THC.
Lemon flavor will follow later this year, according to the company.
The brand said that both products “will embody classic characteristics of a Sativa dominant product for an uplifting and bubbly experience.”
The products will feature natural flavors in 5 calories per can, with a suggested retail price of CA$4.99 ($3.54).
"With the sparkling water category seeing substantial growth over the last ten years, we knew this was more than a trend and was a real consumer preference,” said Haneen Davies, Chief Commercial Officer of Houseplant.
Houseplant Beverages will be available at select retailers across Canada, with the exception of Quebec.
