Gigafactory Berlin is Tesla Inc's TSLA newest factory under construction. After completing its Gigafactory in Shanghai and delivering its first vehicles in less than one year, Tesla may be aiming for that breakneck speed once again.
CEO Elon Musk has said on Twitter that the factory is coming together at an "impossible-seeming speed." He credited Germany's efficient prefab construction methods for the quick pace of construction. Gigafactory Berlin is expected to first produce the Tesla Model Y, and then move on to producing the Model 3.
Giga Berlin will come together at an impossible-seeming speed. The prefabricated construction method in Germany is extremely impressive.

Benzinga's Take: Gigafactory Berlin will be Tesla's first factory in Europe.
With the completion of this factory, Tesla will have major car production capacity in Asia, Europe and North America. This will help Tesla reach its eventual production goals of millions of vehicles per year.
Tesla's goal for 2020 is to deliver around 500,000 cars, though that goal has been made more difficult due to the pandemic.
