Tesla Inc TSLA has multiple factories under construction. An expansion is underway at Gigafactory Shanghai in China that will allow Tesla to build the hotly anticipated Model Y.
Newly posted pictures on Twitter appear to show a prototype Model Y on a trailer and in camo wrap.
The poster does not say where in China the pictures were taken, but the billboards and stickers on the car show that the pictures were taken in China.
Tesla only produces the Model Y at its Fremont, California factory as of now.

Benzinga's Take: It's well-known at this point that Tesla is working to make the Model Y in China to serve that part of the globe.
Tesla is on a hiring spree, potentially in preparation for the new vehicle's launch. The Model Y is Tesla's crossover follow-up to the wildly popular Model 3.
