Cannabis and hemp company Stem Holdings Inc. STMH STEM is cutting the ribbon on its first dispensary in Massachusetts.
To launch Rebelle, the Boca Raton, Florida-based company partnered with the women- and minority-owned business, Community Growth Partners.
The grand opening is scheduled for Thursday, Sept.10, the press release said.
The new retail location – located at 783 South Main Street in Great Barrington – spans 3,600 square feet.
“Rebelle is a new concept focused on the Massachusetts market specifically,” Stem CEO Adam Berk stated Wednesday.
He explained that the new store is the “first step in our penetration of this underserved market.”
The move comes on the heels of a Stem earnings report that showed revenue spiked 960% year-over-year.
“Our mission is to #AimHigher and deliver the products, service, and experience demanded by our local customers, as we prepare to build our own cultivation center next year,” Berk added.
In June, Stem teamed up with the cannabis retailer Driven Deliveries Inc. DRVD to improve its e-commerce offering as well as the distribution of products in California.
The delivery company opted to promote Foothill Health & Wellness products, a full-service medical dispensary, which Steam recently purchased.
