Top Narrow Based Indexes For July 7

By 10:35 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 84.62 points, or 0.67%, to 12,710.64, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had gained 11.33 points, or 0.85%. The NASDAQ composite index rose 29.02 points, or 1.02%. Some of the narrow based indexes that are driving the markets are Department Store Stocks, which have gained 2.8%, Rare Earth Stocks, up 2.8%, and Mobile and Wireless Software Stocks, moving 2.6% higher as a group. In Tickerspy's Department Store complex, Dillard's Inc DDS had surged 5.7%. DDS reported a 6% rise in its June same-store sales. The best performing Tickerspy Rare Earth stock has been Lynas Corporation Limited LYSCF, which was up 4.5%. LYSCF had $290.08 million in total cash and no debt for the latest quarter. Sky-mobi Limited MOBI is today's leading Tickerspy's Mobile and Wireless Software stock, gaining 10.5%. MOBI's PEG ratio is 0.48.
