Wedbush, which
raised its PT on shares of Waste Connections Inc.
WCN, is providing some color on the stock.
“We are reaffirming our positive stance on shares of Waste Connections ahead of the company's Q2 earnings release later this month,” Wedbush writes. “Consistent with our views that management's Q2 guidance was conservative, our survey results suggest that volume guidance is well-supported and there could be upside to fuel surcharge and commodities/recycling assumptions.
“While we do not anticipate any major surprises to WCN's Q2 results, we will look for management to update its FY11 guidance to include contributions from the County Waste acquisition and to provide insight to the pricing environment given the competing forces of higher CPI levels and challenged state/local budgets.”
Waste Connections closed Friday at $32.85.
