Hemp And CBD Brand Uncle Bud's Adds NHL Star Seth Jones As Brand Ambassador

Uncle Bud's, a hemp and CBD brand, tapped National Hockey League star Seth Jones to be a brand ambassador.

The ice hockey defenceman for the Columbus Blue Jackets opted to promote the brand and "democratize the powerful benefits of Hemp and CBD," the Los Angeles company disclosed Thursday.

Garrett Greller, the co-Founder of Uncle Bud's Hemp and CBD, said that Jones is "exactly what we are looking for in a brand ambassador," calling him a "force to be reckoned with."

“His incredible dynamic will fuel our leadership in the category, providing more and more consumers with relief," continued Greller.

Jones praised the new partnership, explaining there an "authentic synergy between myself and the brand."

"I am so excited about what we will be able to accomplish together in growing this category," added the son of NBA star, Ronald "Popeye" Jones.

Uncle Bud's, which sells over 70 products within more than 15,000 retailers in the country, has enlisted other highly esteemed sportsmen and celebrities to endorse the brand, including NBA Lakers legend, Basketball Hall of Famer and entrepreneur Earvin "Magic" Johnson; Academy Award-winner and activist Jane Fonda; and Grammy Award winner and recording artist Toni Braxton.

Johnson, who earlier became a financial partner to Uncle Bud'stold Benzinga that its products "help me out a lot and give me that pain relief I am looking for."

"After trying these products, I said, 'wow, I'm a believer…' So when the opportunity to partner with them came along, I jumped on," added Johnson.
