Missouri Health & Wellness Receives Approval For Sedalia Store

Missouri Health & Wellness confirmed Tuesday that its Sedalia dispensary obtained all regulatory approvals to operate within The Show-Me State.

Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services granted the permit to the Jefferson City-based medical marijuana company recently, the press release said.

The store is located at 1801 S. Limit Ave., the company noted.

This is the second Missouri Health & Wellness retail location to get authorized by the state's regulatory body. The company intends to open once medical marijuana becomes available to the licensed cultivators within the state.

Randy Stambaugh, the company's statewide manager, said that they are "ready to serve patients in Sedalia and surrounding communities as soon as product is available."

"It's important to MH&W to focus on diversity and hiring local people," continued Stambaugh.

The company also operates dispensaries in Washington, Belton, Kirksville, and Jefferson City.

The Washington-based store was the company's first retail location to obtain a permit earlier this month.

"We want to make a positive difference in the communities we serve," added Stambaugh.
