UPDATE: Omnicom Group Reports Q2 Profit of $275.1M

Omnicom Group Inc OMC released its results for the second quarter on Tuesday. OMC's quarterly profit surged to $275.1 million, or $0.96 per share, from $243.3 million, or $0.79 per share, in the year-earlier period. Its revenue climbed 14.7% to $3.49 billion. Analysts were expecting earnings of $0.92 per share on revenue of $3.67 billion. OMC shares gained 0.42% to close at $47.49 yesterday.
