Endexx Corporation (Pink Sheets: EDXC), a provider of solar and wind technologies to a variety of customers, similar to companies like LDK Solar Co., Ltd. LDK and First Solar Inc. FSLR, recently acquired Global Solaris of Sedona, AZ.
Endexx Corporation EDXC announced today the acquisition of Global Solaris Group. Global Solaris, based in Sedona, AZ, is now strongly positioned to capture significant market share for solar and wind energy production projects in the Southwest US.
The US solar energy sector experienced a growth rate of 67% in 2010, with a total market value of $6 billion. The Renewable Energy market is supported by government incentives, lower systems costs, industry maturation and rising energy costs.
Alain Soutenet of Global Solaris stated, “Through project ownership and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Endexx can generate a consistent predictable revenue stream and receive the full benefit from tax credits, accelerated depreciation, the sale of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and the sale of electricity. The project portfolio approach further enhances profitability by minimizing the cost of capital through reinvestments.”
Douglas Jones of Global Solaris Group stated, “The best opportunities in the short term are in the non-profit and public sectors, school districts, churches, local governments, and in commercial sectors like distribution centers, data centers, office parks, parking spaces and agriculture. GSG is also actively working in partnership with local utilities to identify eligible sites for non distributed generation to support substations and transmission lines.”
