PCLN) reported its Q2 profit at $256.4 million, or $5.02 per share, up from $115 million, or $2.26 per share, in the year-ago period. Its revenue surged to $1.1 billion, from $767.4 million. Excluding items, Priceline earnings came in at $5.49 per share. However, analysts were expecting a profit of $4.85 per share on revenue of $1.08 billion. Priceline shares jumped 9.65% to $530.00 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts are expecting Procter & Gamble Company (The) (NYSE:
PG) to have earned 0.82 per share on revenue of $20.63 billion in the fiscal fourth quarter. PG shares gained 0.79% to $60.05 in after-hours trading.
LinkedIn Corp (NYSE:
LNKD) reported its Q2 profit at $4.51 million, or $0.04 per share, up from $938,000, or $0.02 per share, in the year-ago period. Its revenue jumped to $121 million. However, analysts were expecting a loss of $0.04 per share on revenue of $104.5 million. LinkedIn shares surged 4.85% to $100.15 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts expect Washington Post Company (The) (NYSE:
WPO) to report its quarterly EPS at $5.87 on revenue of $1.09 billion. WPO shares dipped 6.21% to close at $368.22 yesterday.
