Apple Helping U.S. Schools With Cheaper Macs

Apple AAPL has never been a company to shy away from good publicity, and is doing it again today. According to Boy Genius Report, Apple has a new computer targeted for education, priced at $999. The new iMac has a 21.5-inch display, and comes with a 3.1GHz Intel Core i3 dual-core processor, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 250GB hard drive and an AMD Radeon HD 6750 GPU. At last check, shares of Apple were off $17.62 to $356.00, a loss of 4.7% on the day.
