Swire Pacific Reports 64% Rise In First-Half Net Profit

reported a 64% surge in its first-half net profit. Swire Pacific reported its net profit at HK$23.95 billion, up from HK$14.63 billion, in the year-ago period. Excluding property revaluation gains, Swire Pacific's underlying profit dropped 48% to HK$4.60 billion from HK$8.91 billion. Its revenue climbed 33% to HK$17.08 billion from HK$12.84 billion.
