Nordstrom reported Q2 EPS of $0.80 on revenues of $2.81 billion; the Street was looking for $0.74 per share on revenues of $2.78 billion. Revenues increased 11.7% year over year. Second quarter same-store sales increased 7.3%. The company sees FY2012 EPS in the range of $2.95-3.10; the Street was at $3.03 per share. FY2012 same-store sales are estimated to come in at 4-6%. Nordstrom, Inc. is a fashion specialty retailer. The company offers apparel, shoes, cosmetics and accessories for women, men and children. The company has two segments: Retail and Credit.
