The metals market is mostly higher today, with the notable exception of copper, which has struggled to come into positive territory. Equities are lower, with all three indexes down.
Copper is down 3.9 cents to trade at $3.993, a loss of almost 1%.

Silver is up sharply, up 75 cents to $40.06, as it broke the $40 mark.

Gold is up $26.50 an ounce to $1,784.50, a gain of 1.5%.
Shares of Spdr Gold Trust ETF
GLD are up $2.08 to $173.88.
Platinum is up $24.40 an ounce, trading at $1,821.60, a gain of over 1%.

PLTM is down 36 cents this morning to trade at $23.81.
Palladium is up $7.10 an ounce today, trading at $753.50, as it looks like it will break $800 an ounce.

PALL are higher today, up 42 cents to $74.71.
