As noted by We Love Windows Phone, Microsoft has laid out its plans for a minor update to Windows Phone, codenamed "Tango." The software giant says that Tango will be an update to "Mango," a major software update that just recently made it to the RTM stage and is expected to be released before the end of this year.
The report also confirmed some previous rumors that the next version of Windows Phone, version 8, will be codenamed "Apollo." However, no information regarding that was given in the article.
The Tango update is focused around developing markets, such as China and India, where Bing may not have such a large market share at this time. Finally, the report says that manufacturers in these so-called developing markets will develop cheap Windows Phones that are pre-loaded with the Tango update.
