Macy's August Same-Store Sales +5.0%

Macy's, Inc. M today reported total sales of $1.716 billion for the four weeks ended Aug. 27, 2011, an increase of 4.9 percent compared with total sales of $1.636 billion in the four weeks ended Aug. 28, 2010. On a same-store basis, Macy's, Inc. sales were up 5.0 percent in August.
