DraftKings To Launch Super Bowl Prop Bet Show With Bleacher Report

One of the leading sports betting names in America is teaming up with a media company to launch an interactive Super Bowl prop bet show.

What Happened: Bleacher Report, owned by AT&T T, and DraftKings Inc DKNG are continuing their media partnership with an exclusive Super Bowl LV prop bets show, "B/R Drop Zone: DraftKings Big Game Prop Reveal."

The show will feature the first look at the prop bets from DraftKings and feature expert analysis and interactive segments.

Bleacher Report will air the show at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, the day after the Super Bowl matchup will be set.

The show will cover 40 prop bets across five categories.

Why It’s Important: Over the course of the NFL season, the engagement for Bleacher Report’s sports betting- and NFL-related content has increased.

B/R Betting is the most engaged and most viewed social media account for the company.

Bleacher Report saw a 46% year-over-year increase in engagement across its channels in the final weeks of the NFL season, including over 23 million fan interactions on its site and app.

DraftKings will offer over 200 prop bets for Super Bowl LV. The media deal with Bleacher Report allows DraftKings the chance to promote its brand and highlight its offerings.

The Super Bowl is expected to be one of the most bet-on events for sports betting and could break records for DraftKings. Americans wagered over $7 billion on Super Bowl LIV.

The company said the recent NCAAF Playoff National Championship game between Ohio State and Clemson was the most bet-on college football game in DraftKings history. The college football championship and Super Bowl will both be part of DraftKings' first quarter. 

DKNG Price Action: Shares of DraftKings were down 5% at $51.02 at last check Tuesday.
